Up for bid is this Vintage "PRINTING - LETTERPRESS PLATE" -- it was MADE in the USA by the "CHALLENGE FURNITURE Company" -- Grooved "Wedges" go together somehow -- see RULER for size -- I purchased these at a RECENT Estate Sale -- I don't have a CLUE on how they are used -- MUCH heavier than it looks as it WEIGHS almost 2 1/2 POUNDS!!! -- needs cleaning -- you GOTTA Find them to buy them!! -- I "think" it is MADE out of LEAD as a "Magnet" does NOT "stick" to it -- this STUFF is old as it is from a PRINTERS SHOP that closed down about 25 years ago -- this STUFF is VERY HEAVY and it is USED and some NEEDS CLEANING -- SOLD "AS IS" -- MANY folks USE this stuff for "CRAFTS" or some folks melt the "LEAD" stamps down to make BULLETS, SINKERS, LEAD SOLDIERS and other goodies -- SEE my other auctions and store for OTHER sizes and TYPES -- Combined shipping is available (up to about 25 pounds worth in a single box) -- you MUST "REQUEST" and "WAIT" for an INVOICE from me BEFORE you pay IF you want combined shipping refigured!! -- 050222/DSC02722-6(1)
