For bidding is a Vintage piece of Moorcroft art pottery piece in the Anemone pattern.
circa 1936-1953 with the original paper label.
A lovely, decorative ceramic pitcher with an ice lip spout and raised details along the flowers.
Excellent condition, no cracks, chips or repairs; there is some crazing however, mostly on the bottom and some on the anemones.
Bottom shows "By appointment - Potter to H.M. Queen Mary" and signed W. Moorcroft.
MOORCROFT is stamped in blue and Made in England is incised.
The pitcher measures 5" tall and approximately 6" wide including the handle.
Diameter of the top is 3.5" including the spout.
