Russian Silver Shashka Knife / Sword 19th - 20th Century
This unusual silver Shashka has been shortened expertly seems to indicate that it was an important object.
The scabbard has also been shortened, and all the silver fittings being in great condition.
Handle is in great shape, with excellent workmanship, the object may have had some damage as it was repaired.
The blade was expertly shortened and so was the scabbard.
The knife is fitted with a single edge blade and appears to be the original blade to the sword.
It is likely this belonged to someone important and was repaired to preserve it.
