Stunning Prestige Moorcroft Gatekeepers Vase Designed By Emma Bossons in 2002. This vase is signed and dated 29th May, 2002 under the glaze and is signed by Emma Bossons. Featuring a stunnng peacock with fully outstretched wings on both sides of the vase. Next to this are panels depicting peacocks standing in various poses. Around the top stunning design of two peacocks in flight with feathers all around the vase. Incredible use of color on this very rare vase, rich ochres, oranges, yellows, cobalt and light blues, dark violet and forest green - somehow menacing but oh so protective.
First quality and in excellent condition. Very minor crazing noticed under close examination most notably in the orange and rust circles near shoulder of top, not at all objectionable. I am the only owner of this magnificent vase having purchased it in 2002. Felt pads on the bottom rim to protect the vase and surface it sits on.
This is a large and very heavy piece and will be packed professionally to get to you in the same wonderful condition it is now.
