Description

Russian Empire naval officer dagger, model 1855/1914, in sheath, with straps (set). Wunder Brothers, St. Petersburg - the company produced naval weapons and officer items at the beginning of the 20th century, existed before the Revolution.
The blade of the dirk is tetrahedral, without etching, even and smooth along the entire length of 290 mm, total length 410 mm. All parts of the handle have assembly marks 6 (9), the coat of arms of Nicholas 2 is clearly visible on the head, the manufacturer's mark is clearly visible on the crosspiece, there are many remnants of gilding . The handle is made of natural material. The dirk is sold only with straps, as this set belonged to one officer.
The leather scabbard has signs of wear, but remains intact; the scabbard has been slightly restored (tinted with black paint at the bottom). Look carefully before making a purchasing decision, the dirk is rare. No interest in exchange.
