Imperial Glass For MMA Magnet & Grape Covered Sugar Bowl In Cobalt Blue

Description

This is a beautiful piece of imperial glass for MMA-Metropolitan Museum of Art. The color is cobalt blue a very deep rich color blue.
The magnet and grape pattern was originally produced by the Boston & Sandwich glass Co. circa 1860’s. The leaves have a frosted appearance.
The piece measures 8 1/2” with lid in place.
I feel one very small chip in the underside of the lid that is not visible for display. Please see last photo.
