Finnish Army M17 Helmet Imperial Russian model 1917 WW1 GWS Ltd. Helsinki

Description

An original WW1 era Finnish Army M17 helmet. Super RARE. Based on French model 1915, but more advanced.
Originally these were made in Finland for Russian Imperial Army in 1917. Maker is G.W. Sohlberg Ltd., Helsinki.
When Finland became independent, 500 new helmets were left at factory. These were issued to Finnish army.
After army use these were moved to civil defense and City of Helsinki. This one is from that lot and it has new raindeer leather liner.
Very good condition, maybe unissued after new liner was made.
