    Description

    Erected in 1908, this unusual structure housed the county government of McLean County which was named for Judge Alney McLean, lawyer and politician of that era. The county was established in 1854 from parts of Davies, Ohio and Muhlenberg Counties. The city of Calhoun was named for John Calhoun, Circuit Judge and Congressman. The town location was first known as Rhoadsville and Fort Vienna...o.a. 1785. The card is in good condition, scratches & dings, aging on the back, with wear on the 2 lower corners.
