    Description

    On offer is a 1754 North Carolina 26s 8d (twenty-six shillings and eight pence) Colonial Note (“The Holy Bible”) in estimated Very Good to Fine condition.
    The note has been backed with contemporary material. There are numerous annotations on the reverse backing which appear to be contemporary. The note is sewn to the backing material. There is a modern tape repair to the center of the note.
    The Friedberg catalog designation for this note is NC-80.
